You can purchase your Vortex Slide onsite at Skyline Queenstown. Tickets can be purchased from the ticketing desk on arrival.
Children must be at least 6 years old and over 110 cm to ride solo. Younger or smaller children (aged 2+) can ride tandem with an adult. Maximum weight limit is 130kg per slider, or combined total weight of 130kg for tandem sliders.
The Vortex Slide can reach speeds of up to 35km per hour.
GoPro cameras are permitted if securely mounted using a chest strap. Handheld cameras, selfie sticks, or any unsecured devices are not allowed on the slide.
Yes, accessibility is assessed case-by-case. Guests must be able to get into the sack, and sit independantly through twists and turns of the slide. Our staff can assist with special arrangements where possible.
The slide features built-in LED lighting. Guests with sensitivity to light may find the experience
uncomfortable. We recommend considering this before riding.

To ride The Vortex Slide, you must be in good health and free of heart conditions, motion sickness, back problems, or other physical limitations. For safety reasons, expectant mothers are not permitted to ride.
