Included with every Gondola ticket, Skyline PhotoPass lets you preserve the memories you make at Skyline Queenstown with photography set against the stunning backdrop of Queenstown Bay and the surrounding mountains from Bob’s Peak.
With just a few taps on your mobile device, you can easily access, download, and share your photos.

Please note that Skyline PhotoPass does not include Luge Photography, which can be purchased separately at the Luge photo kiosk.
How Skyline PhotoPass Works
1. Receive a Skyline PhotoPass
Upon purchasing a Gondola ticket, receive a Skyline PhotoPass card equipped with a unique QR Code and Photo Code, unlocking access to a personal gallery of memories. Gondola Annual Pass holders and 3-Day Upgrade pass holders will also receive a Skyline PhotoPass each time they visit, ensuring every memory with friends and family can be captured.
2. Capture Iconic Moments
The journey starts at the Gondola base terminal and extends to the scenic viewing deck at the top restaurant complex. The friendly Skyline PhotoPass team will guide visitors, scanning the QR code to capture moments against the iconic shot of Queenstown Bay and the surrounding mountains, from Bob’s Peak.
3. View and Download Instantly
Access photos moments after they’re taken by scanning the QR code on the PhotoPass using a mobile device. View and download free digital photos instantly and unlock premium products with just a few taps.
4. Print Your Photos
Stop by the Skyline PhotoPass Retail Zone at the top terminal to print favourite photos—a perfect souvenir to take home. Note that printing services are sold separately.
5. Access Photos Online
Visit the digital portal at Skyline PhotoPass Photo Retrieval to browse and download images. Photos are available online for one year after the visit.
6. Share Your Adventure
Share Skyline memories by tagging @skylinequeenstown on your preferred social media platforms.
