Stargazing Terms & Conditions

1. Stargazing Season: Our Stargazing season runs from March to mid-October.
2. There is a minimum age of 6 for Stargazing tours.
3. Group Size: There is a maximum group size of 22, plus 1 guide.
4. Ticket Purchase: Tickets may be purchased online. If the tour begins within 24 hours of booking, we recommend calling our reservations team.
5. Expired Tickets: Tickets that have expired are non-refundable.
6. Refunds for Shortened Tours: Refunds for tours cut short due to weather or unforeseen circumstances are available up until the halfway point of the tour. A full refund will be issued for tours canceled due to weather before the tour commences.
7. Visibility Conditions: Skyline Queenstown cannot guarantee full clarity, ideal skies, or visibility of certain objects on its Stargazing Tour.
8. Unsuitable Conditions: In case conditions are unsuitable for the outdoor experience, guests will be offered the option to book a tour at a later date (subject to availability) or receive a refund for the experience.
9. Late Check-Ins: Guests who have not checked in by the tour departure time will be considered “no shows.” They are not eligible for refunds or other compensation. Guests wishing to rebook must pay the full cost of the new booking. All experiences are subject to availability.
10. Attire Recommendation: As our Stargazing tours operate in an alpine environment, guests are strongly advised to dress appropriately for colder temperatures and the outdoor setting.
11. Photography Restrictions: To ensure the best possible experience for all customers, photography is not permitted during Stargazing tours. The use of cameras or flash photography can negatively impact the viewing experience and the visibility of celestial objects.
12. Customer cancellation policy: For bookings cancelled or amended, including changes to the date of the booking or the number of guests, within 48 hours of your booking, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
